Just a reminder that Jitterbugs Night Out for tonight, Jan. 19, will be held at the Bellevue Social Center, 1308 Ft. Crook Road in Bellevue. Admission is the usual $5. Next week (Jan. 26) JNO will return to the Eagles at 24th and Douglas.
There will be a beginning lesson as usual at 8:00; at 7:00 Nate and Christy will teach a workshop in Shim Sham. Cost for the workshop is $10 and includes admission to the dance.
If you are coming from Omaha the most expedient way to get to the new venue is to take the Kennedy Freeway (Highway 75) south toward Bellevue. Get off on the Cornhusker Rd. exit; turn right on Cornhusker and proceed about half a mile to the major intersection (Ft. Crook Rd.) Turn right on Fort Crook and travel about a half mile. The hall is on the right side of the street; on the other side is the La Mesa restaurant.
