“Hard Times Swing” is a NET original musical documentary that takes a look at swing music in Nebraska during the Great Depression. Following the development of territory swing bands, swing dancing and the hybrid musical blend that changed American pop culture, “Hard Times Swing” features music from some of your favorite local and regional musicians including: Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, Trudy DuMay, Ed Love, Mac McCune, Annette Murrel, Luigi Waites, Darryl White

The world premiere of “Hard Times Swing” is at the Ross Media Arts Center in Lincoln on Thursday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets to this showing are free and available on a first-come first-served basis through the Ross box office.

“Hard Times Swing” will be shown on NET1 at the following dates and times:

Saturday, March 17th, at 7:00 pm.
Sunday, March 18th, at 11:00 a.m.
Monday, March 19th, at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 24th at 4:30 p.m.
