It is my pleasure to announce Swingin’ a Star – a celebrity dance competition to benefit the Omaha Food Bank, featuring music by the Prairie Cats – Wednesday, December 6th, at Club Nico (11201 Davenport St – one block south of dodge). Doors open at 6:30. Prairie Cats will play from 7:30; contest featuring local celebrities paired with swing dancers from Omaha Jitterbugs starts around 8:00…Cats will play until 11:00. Tickets are $15 in advance and include food provided by Sushi Blue, California Taco, and HyVee; $18 at the door; $10 after 9:00.
