This Thursday, January 25th, The Arts and Humanities Council of Florence will present the 18 piece Nebraska Wind Symphony Swingtones at Florence City Hall, 2864 State Street. The band starts at 7pm and plays for one hour; dancing to recorded music will continue until 9pm. Admission is free to members of the Council ($15 for single yearly membership) or $5 for non-members.
According to the World Herald story the room will be set up with dancing in mind. This sounds like a great opportunity to show our support for live dance music in Omaha, and gain some exposure for Omaha Jitterbugs and swing dancing in general! Check it out – should be a fun evening!
